SNEAKER REVIEW - DUNK LOW SB "OLD SPICE"

Another underrated sb dunk from the black box era, these were part of a "gentleman's pack" which also includes the popular Brut Dunk High SB. Some say this pack contains the Peacock Dunk Mid SB as well. These are particularly tough to find in clean condition.

Here's a picture of them on foot:

MATERIALS: The off-white parts are suede/nubuck, and the dark blue toebox is leather. The gold swoosh is patent leather. The midsole is off-white with blue stitching, and a red outsole. These come with both off-white and dark blue laces.
FEATURES: These shoes are said to represent the colors on a bottle of old spice aftershave. Other than the colors being similar, there are no special markings or designs that further the concept.
STREET VALUE: retail (if you can find your size!)
MY NOTES ON ACTUALLY WEARING THESE: These fit true to size and are very comfortable right out of the box. The soft leather toebox creases quickly. The white suede is fairly buttery for a black box dunk but also gets dingy really quickly and is very tough to clean spots and dirt stains out of. It is one of those shoes that goes from looking brand new to very used within a few wears, thus finding a used pair that is clean is often difficult. The mostly off-white shoe is perfect for an overcast day and the dark blue makes them wearable during the colder seasons. These also can work in the summer, especially around the fourth of July!
