Here we have a pair of New Balances that came out as part of a series of kicks that falls under the "Day Tripper" theme.  I read somewhere that these are literally based off of a day trip down I-95, although the connection seems a little loose to me.  The materials are of course on point as with any Made In USA release.

NEW BALANCE 999 "S.E.A.L."

Here we have a collab between skate/streetwear store Concepts and New Balance.  The shoes of course sport top-notch materials.  They get their name being based off of characteristics found on the OTB Abyss II, which are boots commonly worn by US Navy S.E.A.L.s.  These feature supposedly stain-resistant suede and a special pattern on the inner liner, insole and tongue tag.

Here we have one of the two colorways that released out of the Farmer's Market pack.  The shoes feature some nice materials and are named after the influence for the shoe, which is the Cumbrian farmer's market.  These feature a special tongue tag and pattern on the ankle lining.

Today we have a custom pair of NB's that I grabbed off of the New Balance website.  Their ID system starts you off with your choice of color scheme which you then further modify.  I basically took the Pacific Green "blank" and ordered it as-is with no additional customization, except for the 3M laces which were purchased elsewhere.

These definitely have a beef-n-broccoli look to them, to quote a friend on Facebook.  Normally, I'm not a fan of black and dark brown on a shoe together, but these somehow made the cut.  I'd say top quality Made-In-America construction and materials were deciding factors, in addition to the subtle hints of red and 3M that really set this shoe apart.

Here we have a dope colorway of the 1300.  These were given the nickname"grape" due to the promo pics being a bit Photoshopped, however in person the shade of red used is more burgundy/maroon.  As always, these have that superb made in America quality.

Here we have a collab between New Balance and Concepts highlighting the Harvard VS Yale rivalry with this pair representing Harvard in the Home VS awaY pack which also includes a Yale-themed shoe.  The shoe is basically a New Balance 574 ID colorway that includes a special keychain and spare laces.
