SNEAKER REVIEW - DUNK HIGH SB "CHROMEBALL"

These recently dropped highs owe their colorway to the Airwalk Enigma shoe and their details to Neil Bender, author of the skate-related Chrome Ball Incident blog that was at one point a comic. These are part of a pack which includes a dunk low sb as well.

Here's a picture of them on foot:

MATERIALS: The entire upper is suede, except the swoosh which is griptape material. They have a black midsole with dark purple stitching and a black outsole, and comes with purple and black sb laces.
FEATURES: There are a couple of small details on this shoe to set it apart. First is the image of a ball flying across the lower outer heel, to symbolize the Bender blog. Also, there are some scissors appearing on the outer ankle flap, reflecting some skater's tendencies to cut down hightops to make them more skateable.
STREET VALUE: retail
MY NOTES ON ACTUALLY WEARING THESE: These are comfortable and fit true to size after a small break-in period. No creasing on these shoes, but these will show dirt and get filthy quickly if not taken care of. Keep a suede eraser on hand to clean these up at the end of the day if the lighter suede gets dingy while you're wearing them. Be sure to rock these in the late summer or fall, and not in the rain! Finally, the purple laces are a must to give these some pop!
