SNEAKER REVIEW - DUNK HIGH SB "KENTUCKY"

A simply colorway on a classic dunk high sb, these released as part of the 20th anniversary of the Be True To Your School series. The original series were simple dunk highs for Syracuse, UNLV, Michigan, Villanova, Kentucky, Iowa, and St. John’s college basketball teams. The 2005 remakes of the series were upgraded to all dunk high sb's.

Here's a picture of them on foot:MATERIALS: The white parts are leather, the blue parts suede. These have a white midsole with white stitching and a blue outsole. My pair came with white and blue sb laces.
FEATURES: Like others in the BTTYS series, these come with a special keychain.
STREET VALUE: $140-160
MY NOTES ON ACTUALLY WEARING THESE: These are very comfortable; you may be able to go down a half size from what you would wear in dunk low sb's. They will crease on the toebox, but the suede probably won't show dirt. It will, however, show water spots, so wear these in dry areas only. These could go either way in terms of seasonality; on one hand the shoe is blue and white and is a good look for summer, but on the other hand the shade of blue is dark enough that the shoe could be worn in winter as well.
