SNEAKER REVIEW - JORDAN SPIZ'IKE "AJIV"

The Spiz'ike is really a mash-up of various Jordan models (the III, IV, V, VI and XX) that came about as a collaboration between Michael Jordan and Spike Lee.  These released early last year as part of a series of Spiz'ikes ("Fresh since '85") that pay tribute to the different shoes that serve as the basis of the design.  This particular pair has a colorway based off of the famous "Bred IV".

MATERIALS: The uppers are all nubuck/suede. They have a white/gray/red midsole and sole. The lacelock is gray with a red jumpman and clear housing.  These come with black laces.
FEATURES: These feature special lacelocks that read "MIKE" and "MARS", and a special print on the interior lining as well as on the insole.  The packaging includes special paper and a retro card.
STREET VALUE: retail
MY NOTES ON ACTUALLY WEARING THESE: These are fairly comfortable. This shoe is almost immune to looking beat as the toebox probably won't crease on you and the black uppers will hide dirt and stains pretty well.  The midsole will eventually chip after a few wears, but short of repainting them there's not a lot that can be done about it.  These really would work in any season but since they are mostly black I'd say they are primarily a fall/winter shoe.  These pair well with some dark blue jeans and a black-based tee!
