SNEAKER REVIEW - AIR JORDAN VIII "STEALTH"

The successor to the Air Jordan 7 had some big shoes to fill (pun totally intended).  The original colorways came out during the 1992-1993 season.  This retro released in 2007 and is anything but low key in terms of looks, despite the nickname.
MATERIALS:  These feature an upper made entirely of leather except the gray parts towards the rear which are 3M.  The midsole is gray and white, while the sole is gray, white, black and orange with an orange jumpman.  These come with white laces
FEATURES: For Jordan 8s these are fairly featureless and get their name from the colorway.
STREET VALUE: $150-190
MY NOTES ON ACTUALLY WEARING THESE: These are more comfortable than some of the more popular colorways due to the materials.  Most nubuck-based VIII's are very hot and heavy, but these have a perforated leather upper which makes them much more light and breathable.  Also, since these are mostly leather, they will clean up easily as long as the stitching doesn't get too dingy and the 3M in back stays intact.  I wore these with some gray shorts and a white tee, but they look good with any light colored pants and top and thus make great summer kicks.

Thanks for reading this review! Don't forget to check out some of my older articles as well as my personal shoe sale website (consisting of kicks from my collection, many of which I've reviewed) at www.kickitfresh.com (sizes 9.5-10.5).
