A LOOK BACK - DUNK LOW SB "MAFIA"
While normally I'd say wearing sneakers to a wedding is a no-go, I think these are one of maybe 5 passable shoes in the Nike world that work. Although the patent and horsehair are a little stand-outish, you can only really tell that they are sneakers when you get really close. Check out some new shots below and my original review here.
INFO - DUNK LOW SB "MAFIA"
Two pairs released in the Mafia series, a dunk high and this dunk low. Although the value of these never really skyrocketed among collectors, these are still sought after and fetch more than box price. These are really comfortable if not a little snug due to the patent
leather toebox. You could theoretically go up half a size and have these
still fit comfortably. The patent leather toebox will crease
eventually, but will be easy to clean. The horsehair is all dark so its
not likely this shoe will ever look dirty unless it gets extremely
dusty, at which point the shoes might actually need to be brushed. These feature a floral print on the tongue tag and insole.
NIKE DUNK HIGH SB "MAFIA"
Yet another pack from the black box era, the Mafia series consisted of a dunk high (mostly white) and a dunk low (mostly black). Today we have the Mafia Highs, also known as the Goodfellas highs, which feature a floral print on the tongue tag and insole.
