A LOOK BACK - DUNK LOW SB "TAKASHI"
These are one of the last "grails" I bought, a simple shoe with a lot of versatility in wear; black and gold seems to go with everything! Paired it up with a black polo to go back to work today and I can't wait for the sun to come out and gleam off of the swoosh and tongue tag. Check out some new pics below and my original review here.
DUNK LOW SB "TAKASHI 1"
The original Takashi dunk sb's are a very simple colorway featuring a glittery gold tongue tag. Many sneakerheads still search for this classic silver box grail designed by Takashi Hosokawa. Although another pair would eventually release with a silver swoosh, these are the first sb to bear the Takashi moniker. YEAR OF RELEASE: 2003

MATERIALS: The toebox, swoosh, surrounding panel, and middle rear above the wing are all leather, the rest is suede.
COMES WITH: My pair came with black sb laces.

DUNK LOW SB "TAKASHI 2"
These gold box dunks came out in collaboration with Takashi Hosokawa. Similar to another pair he designed in 2003, these are mostly black with a metallic colored swoosh (the earlier release having a gold swoosh). Here, the print on the tongue tag is glittery silver and there is a design of
flowers and vines lasered along the wing/lower rear of the shoe.YEAR OF RELEASE: 2007

MATERIALS: The toebox, area around the swoosh, and middle rear above the wing are all suede, the metallic swoosh and upper rear are a plastic/patent leather kind of material and the rest is leather.
COMES WITH: They come with gray and black sb laces.
