SNEAKER REVIEW - NIKE AIR 3 GREEN

Back when Kevin Garnett was signed to Nike, he had his own signature line of shoes, the Air Garnetts. This was of course in addition to flightposites and other kicks he was famous for rocking. Changes on this retro are that the Tuned Air in the sole was replaced with a regular Air unit, the KG logo is missing, and they are called the Air 3 instead of Air Garnett 3.

Here's a picture of them on foot:

MATERIALS: The white parts are leather, green parts are mesh, and the black parts are nubuck. The midsole is white and black with green showing through the air unit. The swoosh on the outside rear is metallic, and the tongue features 3M horizontal stripes and a green swoosh. These come with black laces.
FEATURES: The most stand out feature has to be the gradient on the green uppers. It pretty much defines the look of the shoe.
STREET VALUE: retail
MY NOTES ON ACTUALLY WEARING THESE: These fit true to size and are very comfortable. When you first put them on, the zoom air is very noticeable under the ball of your foot. This shoe does not have the type of tongue you can pop easily, and looks way better with shorts. Except for the mesh area, the rest of the shoe should be easy to clean as long as one avoids getting spots on the black nubuck. You could pull these off any time of year but as stated before these work best during spring or summer with a pair of basketball shorts!
