SNEAKER REVIEW - HYPERIZE "BILLY HOYLE"

The Hyperize was the immediate successor to the Hyperdunk and seems to have been intended as a more streamlined version. This sneaker was part of a pack that released based off the movie "White Men Can't Jump" and take their colors from the kicks Woody Harrelson wore in the movie. There is a Sidney Deane edition based off the Wesley Snipes character as well.

Here's a picture of them on foot:MATERIALS: The white parts of the uppers are leather. The sides are flywire material. The midsole is mostly black and blue with a clear/black/blue/yellow sole. Mine came with white laces that have NIKE imprinted on a metallic plastic piece near the toe as well as a pair of white laces with blue and yellow stripes on them.
FEATURES: These feature a tie dye print on the insole and a special tongue tag that reads "I'M IN THE F*#@!NG ZONE".
STREET VALUE: retail
MY NOTES ON ACTUALLY WEARING THESE: These are very comfortable, and the shoes are relatively lightweight (like most flywire-based kicks). The toebox might crease after a few wears. The two tricks to keeping these clean are that the sole must be cleaned after every wear to prevent it from getting dingy, and the seams where the flywire panels meet the leather need a quick check before stowing these away. These shoes sport spring/summer colors, but I still recommend them as a fall/winter shoe because they can take some rainy weather and clean off well.
