These Jordan 1 retros came out in 2009, and are definitely not the first pair to have metallic accents. They released alongside a red pair and a more limited purple pair in celebration of the 20th anniversary of the Spike Lee film "Do the Right Thing". Although not huge with collectors (likely due to the deluge of J1 colorways releasing at the time), these are definitely a clean colorway and in my opinion a very good add to any fan of 1s.
MATERIALS: The uppers are all leather. They have a white midsole with matching stitching and a green outsole. These come with white and green flat laces.
FEATURES: Besides the metallic accents, these came with a hangtag and a spare set of laces. Samples had these with a special print on the interior but this never made it to the production version.
STREET VALUE: $120ish
MY NOTES ON ACTUALLY WEARING THESE: These are fairly comfortable if not a little narrow. The leather is definitely going to crease, but these should wipe down good as new after every wear as long as the stitching doesn't get too dingy. The shoes look good with dark jeans or shorts and a green or white top.
