The original model of these trainers was sported by none other than multi-sport athlete Bo Jackson in the late 80's/early 90's. In 2011, we finally got retros with some new colors. These might not be on a lot of people's radars who want more true-to-the-original colorways, but the Air Max 95 Neon-type color scheme really suits this model.
MATERIALS: The gray parts of the upper are suede/nubuck, the white parts and upper rear are leather. The ankle has a kind of mesh around the top. These have white and black midsole with a green, white and black outsole and green pillars showing through the air bubble. My pair came with white laces.
FEATURES: These are featureless in terms of SC 2 trainers.
STREET VALUE: retail
MY NOTES ON ACTUALLY WEARING THESE: These are fairly comfortable. They are definitely going to crease, probably anywhere there is leather, and the light gray and light green parts can get stained easily. Make sure to take care when wearing these if your intention is to rock them casually. I matched these up with a white tee and some dark jeans; I feel like this shoe speaks for itself and doesn't need to be paired with an overly crazy outfit.
