SNEAKER REVIEW - DUNK HIGH SB "KINGS"

Releasing in May 2010, these are definitely not the first sports team related dunk sb's released.  The dunk itself originally came out using colors from college basketball teams.  Not being limited and having the perforated leather around the swoosh probably killed any hype these might have had.  Pity, because these are actually a really nice shoe and more versatile than one would think given the color scheme.
shout out to skateworks in downtown santa cruz!
MATERIALS: The black parts are suede, the rest is leather. They have a white midsole with black stitching and outsole. These come with purple and white sb laces.
FEATURES: These have no features for dunk sb's and get their name from the resemblance to the uniform colorway of the NBA team from Sacramento.
STREET VALUE: retail
MY NOTES ON ACTUALLY WEARING THESE: These are fairly comfortable after a short break-in period.  The toebox will definitely crease within a wear or two, however the black suede and smooth leather assure these can stay looking nice even if they take on some dirt (provided the midsole is kept clean).  These go well with a black or white tee and depending on the lace choice can work with a number of outfits - a black, purple, or white lace swap can change the look around enough to accomplish this.
