These were inspired by fictional prank-calling character "Larry Perkins". These blue box dunks were originally to release as the "Chirping Birds", however, the sound-effect-enabled shoes had their tone switched from a chirp to a ringing telephone before release. These had a lot of buildup before they came out, but the hype died down somewhat quickly afterwards.

MATERIALS: The swoosh is patent leather, the upper rear is leather and the rest is denim, with fur lining the shoe's interior around the ankle.
FEATURES: These come with black and white sb laces, a special phone booth hangtag, and a tab in the tongue which, when pulled out, enables the shoe to make a ringing sound by pressing the tongue
