SNEAKER REVIEW - DUNK MID SB "BATMAN"

2008 saw the release of a few superhero-related dunks.  Here we have the Batman edition, which sold slowly initially, but like many sb's are now hard to find in deadstock condition.  My personal take is that these present a more affordable way to own a pair of shoes in the "lightning" colorway.

SNEAKER REVIEW - DUNK MID SB "SPIDERMAN"

These came out in late 2008 as part of the "superhero pack" that included the Venom highs and Batman mids.  These met with mixed, though mostly positive, reviews.  The colorway is reminiscent of a famous older dunk low, the "Sharks", although the red is brighter and the shoe is a mid, amongst other differences.

DUNK HIGH SB "VENOM"

Released around the same time as the rest of the "superhero pack" that included the Spiderman and Batman mids, these dunk highs were also known as the "Stormtroopers".  A basic shoe with a simple colorway, these have seen yearly restocks at many retailers and will probably always be easy to come by, although with each re-release, the shoe takes on the characteristics of the current generation of sb highs.  Today we have the original gold box release. These are named after their similarity in color to the comic book villain.
