ZOOM KOBE VII "SHARK"
The next step in the ZK line, these shoes have evolved slightly from their predecessors, with a similar overall shape as the VI, but a few obvious style changes. A supreme version of the shoe exists for some of the colorways that includes an additional insert with a high top-type strap, but this colorway only released as a lowtop. The shoe features a graphic of a shark on the upper rear and a water-like graphic on the flywire portion.
SNEAKER REVIEW - AIR JORDAN VII "BORDEAUX"
It has been a while since my last AJ7 review, so I had to come back strong with this highly coveted retro. This was an OG colorway that finally made its way back to shelves 20 years later. Rumor has it that every pair has a slightly different pattern on the tongue!
AIR JORDAN VII "FRENCH BLUE"
Although the value on this pair of AJVII hasn't exactly skyrocketed, this is still a fairly coveted version of the shoe. I actually got them for box price! The laces for these are skinny oval laces instead of the normal flat. They get their nickname from the colorway.
YEAR OF RELEASE: 2002
STYLE CODE: 304775 141
MATERIALS: Similar to the Olympic VII, these shoes have an entirely leather upper, with a mix of tumbled and smooth textures.
COMES WITH: My pair came with white laces.
STREET VALUE: $200ish

AIR JORDAN VII "OLYMPIC"
When Michael Jordan was part of the Olympic "Dream Team" back in 1992, his Jersey number was 9 instead of 23. That same number appears on the rear of the Olympic AJVII, which he wore while winning the Gold medal against Croatia at Barcelona that year. It also appears on these retros, the second AJVII of this colorway to release.
YEAR OF RELEASE: 2004
STYLE CODE: 304775 171
MATERIALS: These feature an upper made entirely of leather. COMES WITH: White, gold tipped laces similar to the AJ1 Olympic.
STREET VALUE: $160-250

AIR JORDAN VII "DMP ORLANDO"
It's gonna rain? Break out the all leather kicks! These came as part of a 60+ pack that released together with a retro of the "Raptor" AJVII's, celebrating Jordan hitting 60+ points in a game. Apparently, the date on the tongue (3/4/93) is the date of the game being referenced for the 60+, yet Jordan didn't even play on this date!YEAR OF RELEASE: 2009
STYLE CODE: 371496 991
MATERIALS: The shoe is all leather.
COMES WITH: My pair came with silver tipped white laces and a special box meant to hold 60+ both pairs with a separate pull out drawer for each pair.
STREET VALUE: $350-500 for the pack depending where/when you buy
AIR MAX LEBRON VII "PIANO"
Featuring much of the current Nike technology at the time of release, this shoe is easily recognized from a collector's standpoint thus far in LeBron's line. It features flywire and the first 360 Air Max sole designed specifically for a basketball shoe. This colorway was the first one to release in this model, and gets its name from vaguely resembling a shiny piano (if
you ignore the red).. The laces feature the words "Lebron" and "James" on the toe area.
AIR JORDAN VII "DMP RAPTOR"
YEAR OF RELEASE: 2009
STYLE CODE: 371496 991
MATERIALS: The shoe is all very very short-haired suede (almost nubuck).
COMES WITH: Black laces and a special box meant to hold both pairs with a separate pull out drawer for each pair.
STREET VALUE: $200-250 for just this pair, $400+ for the pack
