These Jordans are a retro of a colorway that released in 1993, although MJ himself never actually wore the original release in a game. As Jordan was playing baseball at the time, the IX's are instead said to be based off baseball cleats, hence the interesting markings on the side. Other details common to IX's include a 23 stitched into the back, with a rubber/plastic jumpan/world
logo just above. The sole contains writing of different
inspirational words in various languages. For the retro, minor changes were made to the details of the shoe, and the shade of blue was also changed slightly.
