A 2009 colorway, this pair is a little notorious for the color/material change from the original leaked samples. Initially, these were to release as a black/infrared Jordan 1 with patent leather as the material, and instead out came this Max Orange colorway (basically infrared but a little heavier on the orange tone).
Here's a picture of them on foot:
MATERIALS: These are made entirely of nylon. They have a white midsole with white stitching and a black outsole. My pair came with black laces.
FEATURES: The name comes from the colorway, but other than the materials, there is nothing too unique about this pair.
STREET VALUE: retail, you might pay a premium if buying these from an online retailer
MY NOTES ON ACTUALLY WEARING THESE: These are very comfortable but snug and a little on the warm side. These do have a good amount of cushioning so that your feet almost "squish" into the shoe. Contrary to what I initially thought, nylon will crease on the toebox. The other negative to these shoes is that if your feet get sweaty while wearing them, there's a chance the sweat could permeate and stain the max orange parts of the nylon; the ripstop material doesn't take well to water. Most of the time water spots will dry up and disappear, but not always. This shoe stylewise is basically a different take on the done to death black/red Jordan colorway, and can really go in any season. Since Max Orange is a tough shade to match, I recommend going with a black tee and some dark jeans for these.
