NEW BALANCE 1400 "BLACK/ORANGE"
Today I'm sporting some Black and Orange 1400's I got from J-Crew (I believe this colorway is one of their exclusive releases). These appear deceptively simple, but sport that 3M Orange on the logo to really set them apart, not to mention they are Made in the USA!
YEAR OF RELEASE: 2012
STYLE CODE: M1400BKK
MATERIALS: Suede uppers with a 3M logo
COMES WITH: Made in USA tag, grey laces
STREET VALUE: $130

DUNK HIGH SB "SYRACUSE"
Yet another hightop dunk from the Be True To Your School Pack, this pair is based off of the Syracuse Orange team colorway. There are low top Syracuse dunks that showcase more of the navy aspect of the school colors but these focus on the simple white and orange makeup with similar blocking to other BTTYS dunks.
YEAR OF RELEASE: 2005
STYLE CODE: 305050 181
MATERIALS: The orange parts are suede, the white is leather.
COMES WITH: My pair came with white and orange sb laces and a special BTTYS keychain.
STREET VALUE: $160

A LOOK BACK - DUNK LOW SB "RAMEN"
A lot of times, I like to re-wear kicks with a different set of laces, which sometimes can drastically change the look of the shoe. Here we have the Top Ramen dunk sb's with the included orange laces instead of the black laces I had swapped in for my original review. Check out some new pics below (click to enlarge) and my original review here. Don't forget to vote at the end - are the orange laces a good look?
SNEAKER REVIEW - AIR MAX SKYLINE "MAX ORANGE"
The first colorway of note for this otherwise overlooked model, the Max Orange gained minor fame among sneakerheads for its resemblence to the Infrared colorway of the Air Max 90. Although Skylines are not really a collectible shoe, this colorway is perhaps the most well known and is now tough to get in deadstock condition.
SNEAKER REVIEW - DUNK LOW SB "RAMEN"
Also known as the Orange Hemps, these released in late 2009 and are one of the few sb's out there to employ the combination of materials used. Although the thin tongue would deter many collectors from picking these up, the Ramens may just wind up being a future classic with sneakerheads.
DUNK LOW "ORANGE BLAZE"
A lot of GR dunks release that I wind up regretting sleeping on, so I made sure to pick up this shoe. The blue/orange colorway has been done many times, but these particular shades of those colors have a certain vivid quality to them that makes them pop. I'm not saying these glow in the dark, but in a room with even low lighting these will almost seem to light up.
SNEAKER REVIEW - AIR JORDAN I "MAX ORANGE"
A 2009 colorway, this pair is a little notorious for the color/material change from the original leaked samples. Initially, these were to release as a black/infrared Jordan 1 with patent leather as the material, and instead out came this Max Orange colorway (basically infrared but a little heavier on the orange tone).
