SNEAKER REVIEW - AIR JORDAN I "SAPPHIRE"

Releasing around the same time and utilizing the same materials as the Max Orange AJ1, these shoes did not gain much acclaim when they released.  Perhaps it was the all blue upper that was off putting.  In any case, these are getting tougher to find in new condition.

MATERIALS: These are made entirely of nylon, except the Jordan wings symbol has a clear plastic covering. They have a white midsole with white stitching and a blue outsole. My pair came with blue laces.
FEATURES: These get their name from the official colorway and are otherwise featureless for J1's.

MY NOTES ON ACTUALLY WEARING THESE: These are fairly comfortable if not a little tight fitting, although the interior is very padded. These definitely will crease, and it is possible to sweat THROUGH the material and stain the outside. Trust me - it's easier than it sounds.  Some of the stains might dry up and disappear, but not always. This all-one-color shoe really works in winter or summer when the 'fit tends to be less busy.
