SNEAKER REVIEW - DUNK LOW SB "SKATE OR DIE"

Released in 2008, this shoe was an instant classic that quickly sold out and reached high resale value.  Although that has settled a bit, these are still fairly valuable and sought after among sneakerheads.  Setting an ongoing trend for sb's, the colorway for these is based on a 1987 video game of the same name, said to be the first skateboarding game ever made.

MATERIALS: The swoosh and black areas are leather, the rest is suede.  The midsole is blue with neon stitching and an orange outsole.  They come with blue and neon laces.
FEATURES:  The insole sports a special "push start key" print and the wing and middle rear have embroidered designs also found on the box art for the game that the shoe is named after.  These also feature the seldom-seen but increasing popular double swoosh.
STREET VALUE: $175-250
MY NOTES ON ACTUALLY WEARING THESE: These are very comfortable and are one of the first "premium" sb dunks.  The toebox is definitely going to see some creases early on, and the suede can get stained easily, so be aware of all dirt and liquid in the vicinity of the shoe.  Clean the orange outsole and keep these dry and you should be good to go everytime you break these out the box!  I've found it best to not overdo the matching on these and keep it simple with a black or mostly black tee.
