SNEAKER REVIEW - AIR FORCE 1 "ASG HOLLYWOOD"

Three Air Force 1's released to commemorate the 2011 NBA All-Star Game, each representing an area of Los Angeles.  These are said to be based off of Hollywood, hence the glitzy colorway.  Like many AF1s, regardless if they were highly anticipated or not, I still saw a couple of pairs floating around at an outlet a couple of months after they released.  Still, these are a dope shoe and a bit of an upgrade from standard white on white Air Force Ones.
Shout out to Kikn N Skatn on ISS for helping me with these
MATERIALS: These are all leather, with a metallic gold swoosh and upper rear.  The midsole is white with matching stitching and outsole.  These came with white laces, swapped out to a fatter guage white lace here.
FEATURES: These feature an embroidered design on the rear and a special print on the insole and tongue tag. These also feature special lacelocks like many ASG releases.
STREET VALUE: retail
MY NOTES ON ACTUALLY WEARING THESE: These are very comfortable and of course give you that AF1 height boost.  Don't be put off by the toeboxes creasing within five minutes of wearing the shoes, it's bound to happen on leather Forces.  The best you can do is try to keep these clean and away from dust, as soon as the stitching starts to get dingy it will bring down the entire look of the shoe.  These are good summer look, and khakis or jeans with a white shirt are definitely the way to go.

Thanks for reading this review! Don't forget to check out some of my older articles as well as my personal shoe sale website (consisting of kicks from my collection, many of which I've reviewed) at www.kickitfresh.com (sizes 9.5-10.5).
