SNEAKER REVIEW - DUNK LOW SB "YELLOW CURB"

Yes, another cemented-up sb.  Supposedly based off of the yellow curb on a sidewalk, these released in late 2010 to fairly high expectations.  Although they didn't sell out immediately, it is already getting tough to find deadstock pairs for retail.

MATERIALS: The area around the toebox is leather while the toebox and middle rear above the swoosh/wing are mesh.  The swoosh, surrounding panel, and upper rear are all griptape-type material.  The wing and double swoosh are patent leather.  These have a milky gray/black midsole with black stitching and outsole.  They come with gray and black sb laces.
FEATURES: These feature cement print on the wing, around the toebox and on the midsole.  They also have a design on the outer rear and on the insole.
STREET VALUE: $110-120
MY NOTES ON ACTUALLY WEARING THESE: These are fairly stiff at first but break in to become quite comfortable. The toebox probably won't crease on you, and the shoe is mostly dark colors, so this is definitely a rugged pair that can take a beating and still come out looking clean.  Watch for jean stains on the yellow part around the ankle and you're pretty much set.  I broke these out with a yellow polo and some gray jeans - you could go with a black top, but since the yellow is fairly subdued when wearing these with pants as opposed to shorts, a yellow shirt works just as well.
