Similar to another dunk I recently reviewed, these released in early 2009. Initial pictures had an insole with a graphic of ants crawling on it, but the released version is a bit different. Skater Daryl Angel helped come up with the design for this dunk that had a bit of hype leading up to the drop, followed by a sort of lackluster release. These even went on sale for awhile in my area of the world, although they have rebounded a bit, being part of a custom skater series and all.
MATERIALS: The swoosh and black areas are leather, with the upper rear, toebox and tongue being denim and the middle rear being suede. These have a white midsole with black stitching and outsole. They come with red and white sb laces.
FEATURES: These have a special graphic on the insole of an angel and devil. They also sport the rarely seen double swoosh and a special tongue tag with red zig-zag stitching along the sides.
STREET VALUE: $100
MY NOTES ON ACTUALLY WEARING THESE: These are very comfortable if not a big snug. That denim will eventually crease on the toebox and I've also seen it get permanently stained on other people's pairs, so watch out for dirt/liquids around this area.
