SNEAKER REVIEW - DUNK MID SB "TOKYO II"

I feel like I've reviewed nearly every dunk mid there is!  However, there's one pair which I'm a little hesitant to wear without first confirming perfect weather conditions.  That would be this limited 2008 release, the Tokyo II.  This shoe bears a very similar colorway to the city series Tokyo low, except these are a mid and come with black hits instead of a gum sole.  The shoe sold out quickly and as you can imagine is tough to find in good shape.
Shout out to Skate Works in Santa Cruz!
MATERIALS: These are pretty much all canvas.  There's a white midsole with matching stitching and a black outsole.  My pair came with white and black sb laces.
FEATURES: These are featureless for dunk sb's and get their name from the resemblance to the dunk low mentioned above, although these are a pure white vs the lows which are more of an offwhite.
STREET VALUE: $200
MY NOTES ON ACTUALLY WEARING THESE: These are fairly comfortable although I'd maybe go up half a size to accommodate the stiffness of the thick canvas.  They might crease eventually, but the bigger concern is of course keeping these clean.  I think the black laces are the best look and help break up the shoe a bit.

Thanks for reading this review! Don't forget to check out some of my older articles as well as my personal shoe sale website (consisting of sneakers from my collection, many of which I've reviewed) at www.kickitfresh.com (sizes 9.5-10.5).
