This is my second review on the KD3. Definitely an awesome shoe, I'm still not quite sure that it gets the respect it deserves compared to the wildly popular Kobe and Lebron lines. Still, any pair of KD3's is a solid pickup and I'm definitely looking forward to adding more pairs to the collection!
MATERIALS: The gray parts are short haired suede/nubuck while the swoosh and surrounding area are patent leather. The yellow area near the toebox is flywire. The midsole is white with a white outsole that has gray and yellow accents. These come with gray laces.
FEATURES: These are straightforward and featureless for KD3's.
STREET VALUE: retail
MY NOTES ON ACTUALLY WEARING THESE: These are really comfortable! You're going to get some creasing eventually, but of course the bigger issue is the light gray suede, eternally a water/dirt magnet. Definitely wear these only in clean and dry environments. These are a little tough to match up, I wound up going with a yellow tee and some white/plaid shorts, but some bball shorts in the right shade with a white tee could also work with these.
Thanks for reading this review! Don't forget to check out some of my older articles as well as my personal shoe sale website (consisting of kicks from my collection, many of which I've reviewed) at www.kickitfresh.com (sizes 9.5-10.5).
