This is yet another dunk sb that is based off of a boot. The Wheat Mids take after a pair of Timberlands and released in 2006. Also known as brownpack mids, the colors are similar to a pair of lows and highs both released during the silver box era. Personally, these are my favorite of the three, even if the collector value is relatively low.
MATERIALS: These are pretty much all suede except the upper rear which is ostrich leather. There's a gum midsole with brownish stitching and a yellow outsole. My pair came with yellow sb laces and yellow/brown boot laces.
FEATURES: Besides the boot laces, there's nothing remarkable about these at all in terms of dunk sb's; they get their name from the colorway.
STREET VALUE: $90-120
MY NOTES ON ACTUALLY WEARING THESE: These are very comfortable. They might crease eventually, but the bigger concern is of course all that light colored suede. Although these seem rugged, I'd avoid rocking these anywhere that is overly dirty or wet. A good thing about the light suede is it opens up the shoe to being paired with some different colors besides brown. I busted out a yellow tee and have also thrown on a green tee as well and it still works!
