Here we have a pair of New Balances that came out as part of a series of kicks that falls under the "Day Tripper" theme.  I read somewhere that these are literally based off of a day trip down I-95, although the connection seems a little loose to me.  The materials are of course on point as with any Made In USA release.

These definitely have a beef-n-broccoli look to them, to quote a friend on Facebook.  Normally, I'm not a fan of black and dark brown on a shoe together, but these somehow made the cut.  I'd say top quality Made-In-America construction and materials were deciding factors, in addition to the subtle hints of red and 3M that really set this shoe apart.
