I guess the old Sea Crystal Mids are now Ice Green Mids (more fitting, given the colorway) as this pair has emerged and claimed that name for itself.  There have been a few complaints as to the quality of the materials used on this pair, but what else is new?

A LOOK BACK - DUNK LOW SB "BOARDER BLUE"

It's my birthday!  Time to celebrate with some good weather and all suede niceness.  These are one of the first shoes that had come out before I started collecting that I actually went back and hunted down a deadstock pair.  This is probably my third or fourth wear, but I've gone to great lengths to keep them clean, and they are perfect for this supposed upcoming nice weather!  Check out some new pics below and my original review here.

DUNK HIGH SB "SEA CRYSTAL"

One of the more famous high tops of the silver box era, Sea Crystals are well known for their color, comfort, and quality of materials. It's rare to find a pristine pair, and mine have seen their share of wear. These are definitely sought after, yet were relatively easy to find when they released. This colorway is so well known, other similarly colored kicks are named after them!

MATERIALS: These are all buttery suede.

BLAZER SB "AZURE"

These quickly stand as a very clean gold box colorway. There's usually not a huge backstory to most general release blazer SB's, but these are one of the few blazers from that time I see go for over retail. I've heard of these referred to as the "sea crystal blazers" as they fall in that same greenish-blue-teal with a black swoosh category.

MATERIALS: These are all suede. They have a white midsole with a black sole.
FEATURES: My pair came with white and teal laces.

DUNK LOW SB "BOARDER BLUE"

Here we have one of the more sought after dunk low sb's from the black box era that still hasn't really taken off in value.  The shoes get their name from the official colorway, although some even go as far as to call them Sea Crystal lows and incorporate them in a set with the legendary dunk high.
YEAR OF RELEASE: 2007
STYLE CODE:  304292 411
MATERIALS: The light blue uppers are all buttery suede, the swoosh is white leather.
COMES WITH: The included laces are white and a dark blue that matches the midsole.
STREET VALUE: $150ish for a clean pair (good luck)
