This is the third in the Shima Shima (Stripe Stripe) series and spots a colorway similar to the dunk low sb "Homer".  These feature Japanese characters on the insole and tongue tag and a striped inner liner and were a Euro-only release.

DUNK HIGH "SHIMA SHIMA 2"

Here we have a shoe that released as part of a pack along with a couple of other models in similar colorways.  As the name might suggest, this is the second such pack - the name literally translates as "stripe stripe".  This euro release features a striped pattern on the inner ankle, a speckled midsole, and the characters for shima-shima written on the insole and tongue tag.

A LOOK BACK - DUNK LOW "CAVE"

Happy Easter to all my readers!  Today, I had to rock the yellow and purple together, but of course it had to be flipped.  Normally, I'd only break these out in the fall, but something about Cave Purple is really nice and different during this time of year - it's so dark it's almost black!  Check the newer pics out below and my original review here.

These seem to have been a European release and get their name from the colorway. They feature a special multicolor print on the interior ankle.

EURO DUNK LOW "CAVE"

These were a European exclusive when they initially released. At one point they would wind up averaging over $300 in street value! Many mistake these as being part of the ugly duckling pack (veneers, plums, ceramics) because of the light, all suede construction, but these are not technically pro b's.

SNEAKER REVIEW - DUNK LOW PRO "STILLWATER"

These dunks released as a European exclusive in 2002 or 2003. They are sought after by collectors to this day due to the quality of the construction and the uniqueness of the colorway; although blue and gold is not an odd combo for a shoe, the shades and blocking of the colors used has not been effectively duplicated.
