A LOOK BACK - DUNK LOW "ULTRATALLIC"
Apparently the rain is non-stop for the next couple of weeks, so what better day to look back at this pair of GR dunks. Silvery with an ultraman colorway type flare, these all leather, low value kicks are definitely good for getting wet and still looking sharp. Check out some pics below and my original review with details here.
INFO - DUNK HIGH SB "UNLV"
Here we have another Be True To Your School dunk sb high from the pink box era. The shoes use the colorway of the UNLV Runnin’ Rebels uniform. These are also known as the Ultramans, a nickname given to many red, gray and white Nikes.
SNEAKER REVIEW - AIR JORDAN 1 "SPICE"
One of the last difficult-to-match shades of red Nike made famous was of course "infrared", used on Jordans and Air Maxes starting in the early 90's. Next, Nike came up with Max Orange, and now they are trying again with "Spice", the latest in a trend of orangish-reddish-pinkish colors. Good luck finding something to go with this recent Jordan colorway.
DUNK LOW CO.JP "REVERSE ULTRAMAN"
These simplistic dunks dropped as part of the "city attack" series and were initially an Asia-only release. These shoes are often mistaken for the dunk low "Comet" which is nearly the same, except Comets have a white swoosh instead of gray. No real features to speak of; the nickname is supposedly based on the red and gray colored 1960's Japanese superhero Ultraman.
