FOAMPOSITE PRO "PINE GREEN"

There were three green-based foams that released in 2011.  This was the last one to release and gets its name from the colorway.  These seem to be a bit more limited than the electric green pros, but not quite as limited as the HOH green foam ones.
YEAR OF RELEASE:  2011
STYLE CODE:  624041 301
MATERIALS: These have suede/nubuck and foamposite uppers.
COMES WITH:  Mine came with black sb type laces.
STREET VALUE: $250+  I got my pair from deadstockshoes.com!

SNEAKER REVIEW - AIR FOAMPOSITE ONE "ROYAL"

Here we have a retro of the original foamposite one colorway.  The OG's dropped in 1997, re-released in 2007 and again in 2011.  All of the drops of the Royal Blue foamposite ones are sought after to varying degrees and command more than retail.

SNEAKER REVIEW - AIR PENNY 2 "MIAMI HEAT"

I have one other pair of these.  I only like two colorways on the shoe because otherwise I'd have a lot more; the model itself is dope and very comfortable!  This particular pair is a newer color scheme that released in 2008.

AIR FOAMPOSITE ONE "PEWTER"

After the Copper Foamposites dropped, the anticipation was there for another metallic-uppered foam, and Nike delivered a year later.   These of course are named after the official colorway.
YEAR OF RELEASE: 2011
STYLE CODE: 314996 004
MATERIALS: As is typical, the uppers for the most part consist of the foam-dipped material in metallic silver, except the lacehole area and part of the toebox which is suede/nubuck.
FEATURES: These come with black oval laces.
STREET VALUE: retail.  I got my pair from www.deadstockshoes.com

A LOOK BACK - 1/2 CENT "SILVER"

As water continues to get dumped on top of the central California coast, I must continue to not rock suede or any overly valuable kicks.  Hence, out comes the silver half cents.  These make surprisingly good rain shoes, as long as you don't step in any puddles.  If it's just rain hitting the top of the shoe, your feet will stay warm and dry, but if a concentrated amount of water seeps in through the tongue, your feet will still get soaked.  I just found this out the hard way.  Anyway, check the pics below and my original review with details here.

SNEAKER REVIEW - FOAMPOSITE PRO "ELECTRIC GREEN"

These are part of a slew of foamposites that released in 2011.  These did not rise quickly to heat status like many other foams, but still were swooped up by a ton of sneakerheads.  They get their name from the colorway.

AIR FOAMPOSITE ONE "COUGH DROP"

Ah, foamposites!  Although they've been out since the Penny Hardaway days, it seems like only relatively recently have a large amount of sneakerheads across the country caught the 'posite bug.  As soon as that happens, you know a slew of retros in various colorways are bound to release.  These get their name from the sole which resembles cherry cough medicine.  As far as fit goes, the shoes start off a little stiff but shortly become very comfortable and eventually mold to your foot
YEAR OF RELEASE: 2010

SNEAKER REVIEW - 1/2 CENT "SILVER"

Done initially as a tribute to Penny Hardaway (and Lil Penny), the half cent is a hybrid of various Penny signature shoes from the 90's. The royal half cents were a big hit, and a new line was born that would see several different colorways release, although none with the success of the royals.  Here we have a metallic silver colorway of the shoe.

NIKE FOAMPOSITE PRO "PEARL"

These are this year's retro of a shoe that initially released in 2002, released in limited quantities last year and now has retro'd again to the general public.  These were a bit easier to pick up than other recent foamposite releases, perhaps due to them being produced in larger quantities.
YEAR OF RELEASE: 2010
STYLE CODE: 624041 206
MATERIALS: The uppers consist of foam-dipped material in an off-white color, except the lacehole area and part of the toebox which is short haired suede/nubuck.
COMES WITH: black oval laces
STREET VALUE: retail

AIR PENNY 2 "ORLANDO"

Yet another shoe in Anfernee “Penny” Hardaway's line with Nike, many had the original versions of these when they released in the 90s and this retro is of one of the original colorways based off the Orlando Magics basketball team colors. The most noticeable difference from the first release is the smaller air unit in the sole.
YEAR OF RELEASE: 2008
STYLE CODE: 333886 041
MATERIALS: The upper is shorthaired suede/nubuck. Piping along the side and an area on the outer ankle around the swoosh are 3M.
COMES WITH:  These come with black round laces.
STREET VALUE: $150-175

AIR FOAMPOSITE ONE "EGGPLANT"

Probably one of the more famous and ahead of its time shoes that Penny Hardaway wore during his NBA career was the Air Foamposite One. The foam technology is supposed to mold to your foot after some time of wear.
YEAR OF RELEASE:  2012
STYLE CODE:  314996 051
MATERIALS: The uppers are mostly the foam-dipped material in an iridescent purple, except the lacehole area and part of the toebox which is super short hair suede/nubuck.
COMES WITH: Black oval laces
STREET VALUE: retail with a swing of about $20-50
