SNEAKER REVIEW - 1/2 CENT "SILVER"

Done initially as a tribute to Penny Hardaway (and Lil Penny), the half cent is a hybrid of various Penny signature shoes from the 90's. The royal half cents were a big hit, and a new line was born that would see several different colorways release, although none with the success of the royals.  Here we have a metallic silver colorway of the shoe.

MATERIALS:  The silver parts are a foamposite type material with plastic over the swoosh.  The black parts are suede/nubuck.  There is kind of a smoky-silver, slightly translucent sole with black hits.  My pair came with black, silver-spotted round laces.
FEATURES: Like other half cents, these feature the half cent logo on the tongue with a penny logo on the side.  There is an image of Lil' Penny on the back and on the right insole, as well as a hologram on the sole.

MY NOTES ON ACTUALLY WEARING THESE: These shoes are very comfortable. They won't crease easily and should withstand dirt and water fairly well although the black suede dye could bleed if it gets soaked.  Still, these should stay krispy very easily as long as the soles are kept clean after each wear.  These are a winter shoe with the silver and black colors; also very appropriate for a Raiders game!
