In 2002, sb dunks began to appear, and the dunk low pro's and pro b's began to give way to Nike's official skate line. Of course, just as many collectors agree that the materials used on the first couple generations of sb's are far superior to anything being put out now, most can also reach a consensus on the niceness of low pro's and pro b's. This pair in particular is just about as beefy as an sb; it's just missing the trademark fat tongue and straps to make it a complete Nike skate shoe.
Here's a picture of them on foot:MATERIALS: The black parts except the swoosh are very buttery short haired suede, and the rest is leather. The midsole is gray, with matching stitching and a gum outsole. They came with black flat laces, which I swapped out for some fullylaced black sb laces.
FEATURES: These have no special features and are named after the colorway.
STREET VALUE: $110-130
MY NOTES ON ACTUALLY WEARING THESE: These are extremely comfortable, one might even be able to go down half a size in these. The leather is so buttery, in the dark it would almost be hard to tell where the suede ends and the leather begins. The toebox will eventually crease, but since it is pebbled leather, the creases should be light and blend in somewhat with the texture. The shoe should be very easy to clean as long as one does not get the suede too soaking wet. You're more likely to ruin the butteriness of the suede than to discolor or otherwise make the shoe look dirty (as long as those gumsoles are cleaned after every wear). These shoes are really good anytime but make the most sense in fall and winter or in a business casual setting.
