SNEAKER REVIEW - AIR MAX SKYLINE "VOLT"

Although Skylines aren't really a collector's shoe, there have been a couple of nice colorways in this model, which definitely seems to be somewhat of a throwback to early 90's running shoes in design. At one point a Finishline exclusive, this model now sees drops in other stores as well although the original couple of colorways that released are now getting tougher to find.

Here's a picture of them on foot:MATERIALS: The black, dark gray and silver parts are leather, the yellow parts are rubber, and the rest is mesh. The midsole is white and black with volt showing through the air bubble and a black and volt outsole. These came with white flat laces.
FEATURES: These feature textured elephant-like print on the dark gray parts of the shoe. They get their name from the colorway - although volt isn't listed on the box tag, there are hints of it on the shoe which make it stand out.
STREET VALUE: retail
MY NOTES ON ACTUALLY WEARING THESE: These are fairly comfortable if not a bit snug in the toebox area; some may need to go up a half size. You won't see a lot of creasing with these, and as long as the mesh and midsole are kept clean, these will look krispy for a while! These are basically a winter shoe, although the mesh/white combo could be played upon when rocking these in the spring and summer as well. These work really well with shorts; this particular pair matches well to a gray or black tee.
