One of many new colorways for the Air Jordan VI, this shoe became available in 2010. Like other non-retro AJVI color-ups, the collector's value on these is currently low, but as they become harder to find they may rise slightly. Whether they gain popularity or not, this is definitely one of the more interesting ways in which the shoe has been done.
MATERIALS: The bulk of the uppers are black 3M with the rest in suede. White, yellow and purple contrast stitching can be seen throughout. The midsole is black and white . The outsole is part clear and black, with a black jumpman on the bottom and white jumpman on the back. These come with black laces and the lacelocks are black with a purple jumpman.
FEATURES: These are named after the L.A. basketball team per the yellow and purple stitching.
STREET VALUE: retail
MY NOTES ON ACTUALLY WEARING THESE: These shoes are very comfortable if not a little roomy. 3M tends to crease, but the toebox is suede so it may not be as apparent, if it happens at all. Essentially these shoes will look fresh as long as the clear portions of the sole are cleaned after every wear and the 3M doesn't get scuffed. The suede may need to be occasionally brushed to avoid looking ashy. These are basically a dark winter shoe and go well with a plain black tee.
