SNEAKER REVIEW - ZOOM KOBE IV "DRAFT DAY"

These shoes are meant to pay homage to the day that the Hornets selected Kobe as their draft pick.  The colorway is definitely based off of the uniform colors of the then-Charlotte based team.  Similar to the DMP Jordan VII's, these actually released with an error on them regarding one of the features of the shoe!

MATERIALS: The toebox is leather, the rest of the white uppers are a honeycombed rubbery leather type material. The sides are flywire.  The midsole is white while the sole is part translucent blue and part opaque white/purple.  They come with blue-spotted purple laces.
FEATURES: These feature 6.11.96 on the upper rear and insole to celebrate the date mentioned above.  Problem is, the actual date of said draft was 6.26.96.
STREET VALUE: $145
MY NOTES ON ACTUALLY WEARING THESE: These are very comfortable if not a bit snug like other ZKIV's. They are going to crease on the toebox, but it will take a while and the shoe should clean easily with a quick wipe down.  As long as the white areas and clear blue sole are touched up after every wear these should stay fresh looking for a while.  These seem like they could go either winter or summer; the mostly white upper would look clean on a sunny day, but the purple accents and icey blue sole can make it work during the colder months as well.
