Here we have an O.G. colorway that retro'd in 1999 and again with this pair over a decade later.  The white cements were famously worn in the movie Do The Right Thing.  Of course, this newer retro had tons of hype surrounding the release and have already risen significantly in value.  The shoes get their name from the contrasting mostly white upper and splattered grey areas of the midsole.

Yet another collaboration with Medicom, this pair of dunks features an "X" on the midsole to celebrate the toy company's 10 year anniversary.

ZOOM KD IV "COOL GREY"

Most popular basketball shoes get a cool grey colorway.  For the KD IV, Nike opted to spice up the kicks with some yellow accents.  These are a general release and thus not highly sought after by collectors.  Still, they are a very unique presentation of the "cool grey" theme.

Here we have a re-release of this OG colorway, which had previously retro'd in 2006.  Military IV's have always been a divisive colorway - many are not feeling the offwhite upper while others feel it is essential to the look of this shoe.  The blue on this version seems to be a tad lighter than that of the '06 release.

Military IV's are an OG colorway, although here we have a pair of retros that released 17 years after the originals.  These are featureless for Jordan IV's and get their name from the colorway.

SNEAKER REVIEW - ZOOM KOBE IV "WHITEOUT"

I've heard that different Kobe models alternate from year to year with a blackout and whiteout release, i.e. we have the whiteout for the 4 and a blackout for the 5.  These don't really have any ties to any specific team, yet although these were technically a general release, they sold out fairly quickly and of course are now tough to find in good condition.  It's taken me a while to find nice enough weather to un-deadstock these and today's finally the day!

SNEAKER REVIEW - AIR JORDAN IV "MIST BLUE"

Few retros of the Air Jordan IV have released over the past few years - there hasn't been a recent year of multiple colorway drops like there has been for some other Jordan models.  These however dropped in 2006 with a ton of matching gear to a decent reception, and can now fetch as much as double the retail price for deadstock pairs.

SNEAKER REVIEW - ZOOM KOBE IV "DRAFT DAY"

These shoes are meant to pay homage to the day that the Hornets selected Kobe as their draft pick.  The colorway is definitely based off of the uniform colors of the then-Charlotte based team.  Similar to the DMP Jordan VII's, these actually released with an error on them regarding one of the features of the shoe!

These shoes were met with mixed reviews when they released.  On one hand you have a clean shoe with some soft materials that works well with almost any outfit.  On the other, you have a dirt and crease magnet, and many sneakerheads just can't get past the perforated leather.  Many believe Gino Iannucci designed the colorway on these but they were actually designed by Samuel Barratt.

AIR JORDAN IV "SILVER ANNIVERSARY"

For the Silver Anniversary set of Jordans that released this year, the only models made accessible to the general public were the 1s, 2s, 3s, 4s, 9s, and 11s. With the 3s and 4s it seems Jordan Brand got a little lazy and simply re-released the Pure Money versions of these shoes from a while back (the Pure $ 4's released in 2006).  These feature "Pure $" embroidered beneath the pull tab.  These shoes absolutely killed my pinky toe!
