As water continues to get dumped on top of the central California coast, I must continue to not rock suede or any overly valuable kicks. Hence, out comes the silver half cents. These make surprisingly good rain shoes, as long as you don't step in any puddles. If it's just rain hitting the top of the shoe, your feet will stay warm and dry, but if a concentrated amount of water seeps in through the tongue, your feet will still get soaked.
