AIR JORDAN III "BLACK CEMENT"

Here, we have the latest release of this colorway in this model, the last retro having been the better half of a countdown package in 2008.  The main differences between this version and previous iterations include the shade of red being darker, the cut being skinnier and higher, as well as the black part of the midsole being shinier.
YEAR OF RELEASE: 2011
STYLE CODE: 136064 010
MATERIALS: The black portions have a mix of tumbled and smooth leather, with the elephant print being a suede/nubuck material.
COMES WITH:  These come with black laces, a card explaining the shoe's technology, and a box partially covered in elephant/cement print.
STREET VALUE: $250

INFO - LEBRON 8 V2 "ALL STAR"

As is typical of special Lebron releases of the last two years, this pair had a lot of buildup before they dropped, and quickly sold out.  The shoe did have a surprise restock or two, but even then they went quick!  Something about the gradient just makes these stand out amongst the ASG releases from 2011.  These also feature a special print on the insole and detailing on the laces near the toe.

SNEAKER REVIEW - ZOOM HYPERFUSE 2011 PE "WESTBROOK"

Today I'm rocking these PE's (Player Editions) of the 2011 'fuses.  The player in question for this particular pair is Russell Westbrook, which explains the Oklahoma City Thunder uniform-type colorway.

AIR JORDAN XIII "ALTITUDE"

These first released in 2005 as a limited release and sold out rather quickly, being one of the first J's to feature green on a mostly black upper.  Here we have part of a recent slew of retros; this particular pair sold out nearly as fast as its predecessor, and have swapped in mesh uppers in lieu of additional leather.  They get their name from the shade of green used, although this newer release utilizes a slightly brighter version of altitude green.
YEAR OF RELEASE:  2010
STYLE CODE:  414571 002
MATERIALS: These have leather and ballistic mesh uppers.
COMES WITH:  Mine came with black laces.
STREET VALUE: $200-300 - I got my pair from premierskateboarding.com!

AIR JORDAN V "METALLIC" (2011)

I was ecstatic to hear that my favorite Jordans would retro!  Of course, Nike and Jordan Brand switched up the materials from the nubuck of earlier releases.  In addition, the tongue is a bit skinnier and the icey parts of the sole have more of a bluish tint to them than previous iterations of the shoe.
YEAR OF RELEASE:  2011
STYLE CODE:  136027 010
MATERIALS: Suede uppers.
COMES WITH:  Black laces and red/clear lacelocks.
STREET VALUE: $175-225.  I got my pair from premierskateboarding.com!

AIR JORDAN XIII "PLAYOFF"

Today we see another retro of an OG colorway.  MJ originally wore this version of the 13 during the all star game and playoffs.  Among the more recent retros, these gained a bit of a buzz due to the overall quality, which seems to be a half step above the other Jordans releasing around the same time.
YEAR OF RELEASE: 2011
STYLE CODE: 414571 001
MATERIALS: Leather covers the uppers with a layer of suede on and above the midsole.
COMES WITH: These come with black laces.
STREET VALUE: $160-200.  I copped my pair from Premier Skateboarding!

AIR JORDAN III "TRUE BLUE 2011"

This is an original colorway of the AJ3 that has retro'd multiple times. Although there is some quality degradation when compared to even the 2009 version, this is still a very popular shoe that continues to sell out with every release.  This pair comes in a special elephant-print colored box with the same print on the inside paper and a retro card.
YEAR OF RELEASE: 2011STYLE CODE: 136064 104
MATERIALS: The entire white upper is leather, with the cement print being suede/nubuck..
FEATURES: Mine came with white laces.
STREET VALUE: $210.  I got my pair from premierskateboarding.com!

AIR JORDAN 2011 "WHITE/BLACK"

After the infamous Jordan 2009 and the polarizing 2010, collectors were reasonably skeptical upon seeing the first teaser pics of the 2011's.  Once they actually released however, they were rather well received!  With the help of a couple of nice colorways, these may be the first numbered Jordan model to wind up in the collections of more serious sneakerheads.  The technology helps a bit - these come with two sets of insoles that can be swapped out depending on the wearer's style of basketball play!  These have a number of details for what at first seems to be a very simple looking shoe - the black portions of the upper are embossed with the signature pattern of the 2011, a jumpman appears on the right tongue, "23" on the left, and the plastic tipped aglets say "Jordan" on them.
