After the infamous Jordan 2009 and the
polarizing 2010, collectors were reasonably skeptical upon seeing the first teaser pics of the 2011's. Once they actually released however, they were rather well received! With the help of a couple of nice colorways, these may be the first numbered Jordan model to wind up in the collections of more serious sneakerheads. The technology helps a bit - these come with two sets of insoles that can be swapped out depending on the wearer's style of basketball play! These have a number of details for what at first seems to be a very simple looking shoe - the black portions of the upper are embossed with the signature pattern
of the 2011, a jumpman appears on the right tongue, "23" on the left,
and the plastic tipped aglets say "Jordan" on them.
