SNEAKER REVIEW - DUNK LOW SB "BABY BEAR"

Casual Fridays at the office for a sneakerhead entails some real heat! This Friday, it's none other than the baby bear dunk low sb. One of many frequent collaborations with toy company Medicom, these were part of a series of 3 dunks; the papa bear high, mama bear mid, and baby bear low dunk sb's.

MATERIALS: The blue parts are suede, tan parts are fur (except the nubuck tongue), and the leather swoosh and stitched "NIKE" on the heel is light green. White midsole (blue stitching), yellow outsole, and comes with both light green and blue laces.
FEATURES: The most apparent special feature on this dunk (and all of the bear series) is the fur on parts of the shoe. The insole has a design of a toy bear on it and the paper that comes with it is covered in a toy bear print pattern.
STREET VALUE: $170-$300 depending on condition
MY NOTES ON ACTUALLY WEARING THESE: These fit true to size (maybe even a little narrow/snug on the interior but not enough to really affect fit), and are fairly comfortable. The toebox is fur so these are fairly creaseproof. The materials are of good quality but will be tough to clean. We're talking light colored suede which can get wet and stained, and fur which can get dingy and matted, so be sure to check yours after every wear and avoid the rain or any puddles in these. This colorway is basically a spring/summer colorway that works with brightly colored clothes (break out that crazy shirt with the light green on it), or even a plain white tee. All around great shoe and head turner that needs special attention to being kept clean when worn.
