These came out in 2010 alongside a few other mostly white models for the 25th anniversary of Air Jordans. Several other IX's released that year, but these only dropped at certain stores. Although they initially sat online, they now typically command more than retail in deadstock condition.
MATERIALS: The uppers are all leather. The shoes feature a white midsole with a black and gray outsole and come with white laces.
FEATURES: These feature a shiny quilted material on the interior.
STREET VALUE: $175-200
MY NOTES ON ACTUALLY WEARING THESE: Typical of IX's, these are fairly heavy but provide an otherwise nice fit and are really comfortable. They might eventually crease and/or yellow, but as long as the stitching stays white (by keeping these away from dirt and dusty areas) and the white areas near the bottom get cleaned up after every wear, the shoe will continue to look fresh. Watch for jean stains around the ankle as well; khakis are definitely an easy way to go with these.
Thanks for reading this review! Don't forget to check out some of my older articles as well as my personal shoe sale website (consisting of sneakers from my collection, many of which I've reviewed) at www.kickitfresh.com (sizes 9.5-10.5).
