SNEAKER REVIEW - DUNK HIGH SB "MR TODD"

One of the few Nike SB collaborations with Todd Bratrud, skate-related artist. The most famous of these would be his first, the Send Help dunk high sb, and I believe this is his second (of five total so far). The inspiration has been said to be a woman wearing jean shorts, although I'm not sure if that is a direct quote from Mr. Bratrud.

Here's a picture of them on foot:

MATERIALS: The brown parts are suede, the blue parts are denim, and the pink parts are patent leather. They have a white midsole with pink stitching and a pink outsole, and came with pink and white sb laces.
FEATURES: Other than the unique colorway and the designer, there are no extras on this shoe.
STREET VALUE: $80-120
MY NOTES ON ACTUALLY WEARING THESE: The front of the shoe being all suede helps it to be very comfortable, one might even be able to go down half a size. The toeboxes are not going to crease on you, but the brown suede can get spotty and otherwise dirty looking, especially when hit with some water. I'd take care in cleaning these with any liquids. The shoe itself is a bit controversial as to whether its a good look because of the colorway, but the materials are all really nice and the shoe can be pulled off in any season. Match it with jeans and a white tee (using the white laces) in the summer or go with a light brown top or jacket in the winter (while sidestepping all puddles of course).
