SNEAKER REVIEW - DUNK LOW SB "GOLD RAIL"

In October 2008, these dunks released based on colors found at the Flinders Street Station in Melbourne, Australia; this location is a popular skate spot with a gold rail.

Here's a picture of them on foot:

MATERIALS: The light blue is suede, while the rest of the upper is canvas except the patent leather swoosh and upper heel. They have a brown midsole with brown stitching and a beige outsole. This gold box comes with white and blue sb laces.
FEATURES: These dunks have no features other than the colorway to identify them with their source of inspiration. I've swapped in the cream fullylaced laces which match very well with the rest of the shoe.
STREET VALUE: retail
MY NOTES ON ACTUALLY WEARING THESE: These are very comfortable and fit true to size. These won't really crease, but the blue suede rubs off on the canvas toebox and can be difficult to remove. I've had good luck with a suede eraser regarding any blue stains on the beige toebox. Of course, exercise caution around the light blue suede, which may be tough to clean if it gets spotty. These are a summer shoe and an overall calm colorway for the brighter months. The tan areas of the shoe may help to pull these off in other months as you can mute your outfit to go along with this color.
