DUNK LOW SB "UK PASSPORT"
These released shortly before the blue "US Passports" dropped as part of a Passport Pack. Other than the similarity to the colors and materials of a UK Passport, these have no special features, but are definitely a clean choice for those that want another burgundy option in the collection! YEAR OF RELEASE: 2011 STYLE CODE: 304292 600
MATERIALS: The uppers appear to be mostly suede with the toebox, middle rear and panel around the swoosh all having a textured look and feel. The swoosh is metallic gold leather.
COMES WITH: My pair came with maroon and white laces.
STREET VALUE: retail. I got my pair from Skate Works in downtown Santa Cruz!
A LOOK BACK - ZOOM KOBE V VETERAN'S DAY
Occasionally, nature intervenes with what can be a sneakerhead's worst enemy - rain. Also, sometimes I just want to wear a pair more than once! While I'll always have new shoes to review, it is for these reasons that I'll be adding a new "A Look Back" feature that reexamines a shoe I've previously reviewed from a more artistic aspect with updated on-foot pictures. Today, due to thunderstorms I've chosen the Veteran's Day ZKV, which makes a nice, easy to clean rain shoe. You can find my original review with details here.
SNEAKER REVIEW - KOBE V "USA"
There are a couple of similar looking Kobe V with red/white/blue colorways; this is the general release. There is also a pair with less blue and more white; the United We Rise Kobe V. This model in general is a very slick shoe that is good for quick basketball players and stylish collectors alike, and is definitely a bit sleeker than the previous model.
