SNEAKER REVIEW - AIR MAX SKYLINE "MAX ORANGE"

The first colorway of note for this otherwise overlooked model, the Max Orange gained minor fame among sneakerheads for its resemblence to the Infrared colorway of the Air Max 90.  Although Skylines are not really a collectible shoe, this colorway is perhaps the most well known and is now tough to get in deadstock condition.

MATERIALS: The light gray parts are suede/nubuck, the swoosh and black areas are leather, the max orange parts are rubber, and the rest is mesh. The midsole is white and max orange with white showing through the air bubble and a black, white and max orange outsole. These came with white flat laces.
FEATURES: These are fairly straightforward for Skylines and have no special features.
STREET VALUE: retail
MY NOTES ON ACTUALLY WEARING THESE: These are very comfortable. You won't see a lot of creasing with these, but that blasted gray nubuck (along with the mesh) gets dingy very easily! Avoid contact with dust and liquids and clean the midsole and mesh regularly to keep these looking clean.  These are basically a spring/summer shoe, and work best with a white or gray tee as max orange is a tough color to match/compliment.
